81回目の終戦の日を迎えました。
戦争の実体験をもつ当事者が少なくなっていく中、現役世代に課された使命は、いかに当時の体験や記憶を鮮明に次世代に繋ぎ、平和を守っていくかということだと思います。

区内で戦争を体験された丹後さんにお話を伺った時の映像です。

We welcomed Shozo Tango, who lived through the war, as our guest and heard his invaluable stories based on his memories of that time.

As we mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the war, we felt it was essential to reaffirm the preciousness of peace and pass this message on to the next generation.
