被災した熊本県八代市の村山石油では、店舗やご自宅が被害を受けた中、
「地域のみんなのために店を開けよう」
と地震後すぐに営業を再開したそうです。

現在、支援物資の提供配布、地下水の提供をしながら、店舗の復旧と地域のライフラインを守るため、クラウドファンディングに挑戦されています。

At Murayama Petroleum in Yatsushiro City, Kumamoto Prefecture—which was hit hard by the disaster—despite damage to both their store and their home,
they reportedly decided, “Let’s open the store for everyone in the community,”
and resumed business immediately after the earthquake.

Currently, while providing and distributing relief supplies and supplying groundwater, they are launching a crowdfunding campaign to restore their store and protect the community’s essential services.
