【成城地域 生ごみを資源化する実証事業】

成城地域にお住まいの方を対象に、家庭から出る生ごみを、バッグ型コンポストを使ってたい肥にする実証実験が始まります。生ごみ削減やたい肥の活用方法、地域内での資源循環など、課題や可能性を検証します。

参加世帯には、バッグ型コンポストが無償で貸与されます。

家庭での取り組みが、地域でのつながりをもたらし、環境に配慮したまちづくりにも寄与するよう期待しています。

[Seijo District Pilot Project: Turning Food Waste into Resources]

The City of Setagaya is launching a pilot project for residents of the Seijo District to experience turning household food waste into compost using bag-type composters.

The project aims to examine challenges and possibilities related to reducing food waste, utilizing compost, and promoting resource circulation within the community.

Participating households will be loaned bag-type composters free of charge.

I hope that these household efforts will foster community connections and contribute to the development of an environmentally conscious neighborhood. Applications are accepted until July 13.
