旧尾崎テオドラ邸にゆかりのある、尾崎行雄・テオドラ英子ご夫妻。その娘さんの相馬雪香さんが創立されたAAR Japan難民を助ける会を訪問させていただきました。

AAR様には、夏に尾崎邸で実施したオークションから、台湾東部地震や台風で被災された方々への支援金として、1千124万4,500円をお渡ししました。

現地での支援の様子を教えていただき、避難所での生活の様子や、社会的復帰のための支援の策についても知ることができました。

尾崎邸のつながりで、寄付金を台湾の支援にも役立てることができ、良かったです。早期の復興を願います。

The members of the Ozaki Theodora’s House visited AAR Japan [Association for Aid and Relief Japan], which was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Yukio and Theodora Ozaki’s daughter, Yukika Soma.

We gave 11,244,500 yen as relief money to those affected by the earthquake and typhoon in eastern Taiwan. We were informed of the support being provided in the area and learned about life in shelters and the measures being taken to help people reintegrate into society.

I am glad that through the connection with the Ozaki residence, we were able to use the donation to support Taiwan as well. We hope for a speedy recovery.
