小学校で行われた環境学習の授業を見学させていただきました。

まずは教室で、ゴミがゴミになるまでや、分別の仕組み、リサイクルや、ゴミを意識した購入についてなどの授業。
その後は外に出て、ゴミ収集の体験や、収集活動について学びました。

子どもの日常に寄り添って、自分ならどうするかな？と考えさせる工夫がところどころにあり、有意義な授業でした。

I had the opportunity to observe an environmental education class held at an elementary school.

First, in the classroom, the students took part in lessons covering topics such as the process by which trash becomes waste, the system for sorting trash, recycling, and making purchasing decisions with waste in mind. Afterward, they went outside to experience trash collection firsthand and learn about the collection process.

The lesson was very meaningful, with numerous elements designed to connect with the children’s daily lives and encourage them to think, “What would I do in this situation?”
